Built by Professor
Cerebro is built by Professor (Michael Anthony Lopez), a developer who believed AI deserved more than a blank slate. What started as a personal memory system evolved into a full cognitive architecture — one that reasons, predicts, learns, and remembers.
The vision is simple: every AI should have a brain. Not a database. Not a vector store. A living, learning system that grows with you.
Open Source
Cerebro is fully open source under the AGPL-3.0 license. The complete 49-tool cognitive engine is free — no paywalls, no feature gates, no usage limits on the core brain.
You can inspect every line of code, contribute improvements, or fork it for your own purposes. The source is available on GitHub.
