Terms of Service
Last updated: February 21, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using Cerebro ("the Software"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Software.
2. Service Description
Cerebro is an AI memory and cognitive enhancement platform that runs locally on your machine. It is available in two tiers:
- Free — Full 49-tool MCP brain, community support
- Pro — Desktop app, visual explorer, mind tab, unlimited agents, full autonomy, analytics, priority support
3. Subscriptions and Billing
Pro is a paid subscription billed monthly or annually through Stripe. All prices are in USD. You may cancel at any time through the billing portal — your access continues until the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial billing periods.
4. Requirements
Cerebro requires Docker Desktop and a Claude Code subscription to operate. These are third-party services with their own terms and costs. Cerebro is not affiliated with Anthropic or Docker.
5. Open Source License
The Cerebro source code is licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 (AGPL-3.0). You may view, modify, and distribute the source code in accordance with that license. The AGPL-3.0 license applies to the software itself — paid subscriptions provide access to pre-built binaries, activation codes, and support.
6. AI Output Disclaimer
Cerebro enhances AI capabilities but does not control AI model outputs. AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. You are solely responsible for reviewing and using AI outputs. We provide no warranty on the accuracy, reliability, or fitness of AI-generated content for any purpose.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Redistribute activation codes or share subscriptions
- Reverse-engineer the activation or licensing system
- Use Cerebro for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to circumvent usage limits or access controls
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cerebro and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Software.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Cerebro after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Material changes will be communicated via the website or application.
