Privacy Policy

Overview

Cerebro is a desktop application that runs 100% on your local machine. Your data never leaves your system. This privacy policy explains how we handle the limited information involved in licensing and payments.

Data That Stays on Your Machine

  • All AI memory, conversations, and learning data
  • Your configuration and preferences
  • Agent outputs and mission journals
  • Any files processed by Cerebro

Cerebro does not include telemetry, analytics, or any phone-home functionality in the desktop application. The Docker container runs entirely on your hardware.

Payment Information

Payments for Pro subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers or payment details on our servers. Stripe handles all payment processing in accordance with PCI-DSS standards.

We receive from Stripe:

  • Your email address (for account management)
  • Subscription status (active, cancelled, etc.)
  • Transaction history (amounts and dates)

Activation Codes

When you purchase a Pro subscription, you receive an activation code. This code is validated against our licensing server to confirm your subscription status. The only data transmitted is the activation code itself and your subscription tier.

Website

The cerebro.life website may use standard analytics to understand traffic patterns. This is separate from the desktop application, which contains no analytics.

Open Source

Cerebro is licensed under AGPL-3.0. You can inspect the complete source code to verify our privacy claims at github.com/Professor-Low/cerebro.
